"Never give up! Never give up.. Never give up!.. If the enemy steps up their foot on our land we shall fight in the waters. If the enemy captures our waters, we shall fight in the air. We shall fight till the last breath..!!" These were the words of the person during WW 2. The person with the vision of 'V' of Victory, gave courage to people of the country. The person who's words ignited the minds of people in the country to bounce back and stand firm against enemies. The person with a vision.. The wartime Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill.
What before before 1939. The year in which war had begun. What was he doing? Was he in the government? Surprisingly he was just a member of Parliament. Though he belonged to the ruling party, the then Prime Minister Chamberlain chose to keep him out of the cabinet. Why? The reasons were political, absolutely. These were the very much insulting days for a person like Churchill, with excellent capacities and vision. What did he do in those days? He was busy with his studies, analytical studies of political, social situations not just in the England but of the Europe and World also. He time to time stated the importance of the strengthening of armies, fleets & Air forces. He came to know what kind person Hitler was, much earlier than any other person in Europe. He was warning European leaders time to time. The PM and cabinet were busy in trying to make peaceful deals with NAZI Germany. All the policies by Chamberlain failed & Europe went into state of war. Total failure of foreign policies. England & Europe suffered a lot from it.
September 1939. Sir Winston Churchill was asked to come and have the post of 'First lord of Admiralty.' He did a great job, though there was not so much support for his tactics and strategies. He never gave up. Hitler's forces and air forces were storming all around the Europe, he never gave up, nor he let the country give up.
Keeping apart his views and statements regarding the British colonies and especially India. He is the person who can lift up morale in frustrating, depressing situations. 1933 to 1938, what Hitler could do in Germany on the fronts of Economy, Military, it was stormy but lightening. It did not sustain for long time. Considering the facts, both Churchill and Hitler had one similarity. Both were great at the oratory skills. They knew how to use words to wake huge crowds. It is up to us, whom should we follow. By studying those two persons, sir Churchill definitely stands much higher than Hitler. He ( Churchill) was the person who himself stood and let the country stand against the enemies. He is the person who led the country towards 'V' for Victory with strategies, tactics and most importantly words full of positivity. The words will always let everyone bounce back and stand towards a great victory. 'V' for Victory for life. Never give up.. Never give up.....
